How does a sports club find sponsors?
Make an overview of what the club can offer, set a price per placement that covers printing, and show businesses how many people they reach. Through Sponsormakker the club takes part for free, and we contact the businesses for you.

1. List the placements
Go through the hall and pitches, each team’s kit, the website and the club’s social media. Write down what is available and what is already sold.
2. Set a price that covers printing
The price the club sets is what the club receives. Banners, signs and kit logos have to be printed, so include that cost in the price.
3. Show who the business reaches
Businesses want to know how many people will see their name: number of members and teams, matches and training sessions, and social media followers. Give figures that can be checked. Sponsormakker checks the figures against public sources.
4. Deliver what you promised
Put the placement up on time, keep it up for the whole period and send the sponsor a photo. That makes it easier to keep the sponsor next year.
