FAQ

How does a business sponsor a sports club?

You decide how much to spend and where you want to be seen. Then you find a club with those placements, agree on price and period, and the club produces and puts up the banner or print. Sponsormakker does the work between the business and the clubs.

1. Set the budget and area

Start with the amount the business wants to spend in a year, and where its customers live. That can be one club, a whole district, a city or the whole country.

2. Choose where to be seen

The most common placements are a banner by the pitch or in the hall, a logo on the kit of one or more teams, posts in the club’s social media and the name of a cup or event.

3. Find the club and agree on a price

The club sets the price of each placement, and the price covers printing and installation. The agreement describes the placements, the amount and the period. Through Sponsormakker a sponsorship lasts 12 months and does not renew automatically.

4. Check that it is delivered

Ask for a photo of each placement once it is in place. Through Sponsormakker the club sends the photo to us, and we pass it on to you. If a placement is not delivered, we find an equivalent placement, or you get the money back for that part.

What does it cost, and is it deductible?

The club sets the price. See what it costs to sponsor a sports club and whether the business can deduct it.
